If you are super deep and spiritual, you probably won’t get this conversation. But, if you’ve ever had to wait for God to answer your prayers…AND became frustrated at some point, you are not alone. The season of unanswered prayers for your marriage can sometimes feel hopeless. Or even worse, like God is ignoring you.  Let’s address the hardest part about unanswered prayers for your marriage and how you can still experience victory during that season!

Watch this video for details.

Trust God during the waiting period.

God knows exactly what he is doing and hasn’t forgotten about you.  During this season of waiting, be intentional about building your faith.  Create a deeper connection with God based on what he has already done in your life.

I don’t know your situation, but, I know God.  He has never failed you!  Psalm 27:13-14 says, “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Make sure your desires align with the word of God

God wants to get you to a place where your desires are aligned with his will for your life.  During this waiting season, you must develop your relationship with God.  Intentionally cultivate it.  Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Restoring your marriage after infidelity

Even the waiting period is a part of your perfecting.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Philippians 6-7, NKJV

We have to trust God’s timing.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Galatians 6:9  And let us not be weary in welldoing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

What does reap mean?

  • to cut or gather (a crop or harvest).
  • to receive (a reward or benefit) as a consequence of one’s own or other people’s actions.

What are you planting in your marriage?  Are you currently sowing the fruits of the spirit into your marriage?  Are your actions aligned with what you want to experience in your marriage?

As you continue to become the woman God has called you to be and walk in the power he has placed in you, take full ownership of creating an environment that aligns with your desires.

Stay Blessed Sis!
