I don’t want to sugarcoat anything. When you made the decision to stay with your husband, yes it was honorable. But, the restoration process will not happen overnight. There are many aspects that will delay the progress of your restoration. I intend to help you avoid the most subtle hindrances that often get overlooked. Do you really believe there is something too big for God to handle? Do you really think God allowed a situation in your life that he is unaware of?
There is nothing you are experiencing that is too hard for God. He’s got you. Sometimes you are so focused on the problem that you completely miss seeing God. Or even worse, you don’t use the power God has given you to release prayers that break through every plot of the enemy.
That is impossible. Only two things can happen, your marriage will remain feeble and broken. Or, it will be stronger than it was before. But, normal is what got ya’ll into the situation it’s in now. Without intentionality, you will fall into a rut. You must be intentional about where you want your marriage to be and what you will do to get it there.
You need community. Other wives that choose to trust God for the restoration of marriages. You are not alone. The enemy wants you to remain isolated. Take the first step by creating a circle of wives you can walk this journey of healing with. Restoring your marriage after infidelity is definitely possible. But, it is so much easier when you have the support of wives that hold your hand through the process.
God wants you to be honest with him about what you are feeling and what you desire. You have not because you ask not. Ignoring your anger, resentment, emotional roller coaster, grief and all the other range of emotions will only keep you bound. Be honest with God about what you are experiencing and tell him what you want. It might not happen overnight. But, the word of God tells us to keep knocking. Keep asking for what you desire until you see the complete manifestation of God’s power in your life.
There is a real war going on in the heavenly places concerning you. Don’t think this is an accident. God wants you to experience a breakthrough. But, there is a real enemy that wants you to forfeit your victory. So he is fighting to make sure you feel defeated and then accept defeat. No, Sis! You are victorious. Put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Read all of Ephesians 6:10-18
